I was fortunate enough to be able to join Ellie's first groups in June 2023 and what an amazing difference that has made to my life and to many others that have benefited since.

I was first diagnosed on 2014 and after surgery and treatment given the all clear after 5 years. However, last year it decided to pay me another visit and at the moment doesn’t seem to want to leave!!

The support and love I have received from my Into the Blue family is incredible.

I would whole heartedly recommend anyone with a cancer diagnosis to join.

As a way if showing my appreciation to Ellie I have tried my hand at fundraising. Firstly I, together with my Daughter Sally, did a sponsored skydive. I didn’t realise quite how scary it would be but once up there, there was no turning back. I now keep my feet firmly on the ground and raise funds by providing hot food and cakes from my camper van Scarlett after our weekly swims. The group make a donation and profits go ti the charity.

We are always thinking of other ways to raise money including a cake sale and Tombola
