The Whole Shoal

The Whole Shoal is a unique community of people affected by cancer made up entirely of people who have attended an Into the Blue course. 

The Shoal is defined by our values of inclusion, kindness, fun and support, and all graduates are warmly welcome every week, or whenever they want to come. There are swims happening at different locations in Devon each week throughout the year. Swimmers enter the water at their own risk – these are not lifeguarded swims. 

We gather together en mass at other times for celebrations or just the joy of all being together in the water – staff, trustees, Shoalies – inevitably accompanied by Cynthia’s legendary baking.
