Loïc Doison

Loïc is a Trustee and one of the founding member of the charity, bringing over 25 years of professional lifesaving and water safety experience from around the world. His career has included roles as a surf lifeguard in France, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, with the highlights of being a rescue swimmer with the Australian Westpac helicopter service, national lifeguard training manager in France, and member of the RNLI International Training Team.

A registered nurse and co-founder of a successful water safety company in South Devon, Loïc has extensive experience delivering open water swim ventures, event water safety, beach lifeguard training, and water safety education. He is passionate about making the sea accessible in a safe, supportive, and inclusive way for people living with and beyond cancer.

Loïc plays a key role in shaping the charity's vision and maintaining the high standards of safety, professionalism, and compassion that underpin everything it does. Away from his trustee role, he just loves the outdoors and the more he stays sea-salty, the better he feels!
